Earn An Easy 10,000 Hilton Points For Completing One Survey

Get 10,000 Hilton points for completing one survey.

That’s right.

Earn 10,000 Hilton points with Guest Opinion Rewards.

You must be a new member of Guest Opinion Rewards and complete the survey within 90 days after December 31, 2020.

Hilton points are valued at $.50, so this is worth $50.

You can redeem hotels at Hilton hotels starting at 5000 points although there are very few of those in the United States.

Ten thousand points will get you off to a good start whatever redemption you have in mind though.

This is as easy it gets.

Mine posted a few days later.

What is Guest Opinion Rewards?

Guest Opinion Rewards is a market research company.

They have partnered with Hilton to allow Honors members to earn points for surveys.

Since this partnership must be new, I think they are being generous with this sign up bonus.

How do you get your 10,000 Hilton Honors points for completing one survey?

  1. Join the program here
  2. Fill out your initial information
  3. Take your first survey

I got points without completing the survey

I don’t know if this is true for everyone, but I was awarded points for a survey that I was disqualified for and did not complete.

For those who don’t know, disqualification is when you attempt a survey and do not qualify during the initial demographic questions.

I attempted the survey and did not meet the qualifications.

I thought I would have to complete a full survey, but I got the message saying my 10,000 points were pending.

Basically, I got 10,000 points for attempting a survey instead of completing one.

I don’t know if this will be everyone’s experience though.

Is this worthwhile long-term?

The initial offer of 10,000 points to complete one survey is fantastic.

That is a no-brainer.

Should you do surveys on a regular basis though?

It depends.

Like the review I did with Miles to Opinions, it can be for some.

If you did one survey a day, you would have about 40,000 Hilton Points (surveys are 100-150 Hilton Honor points).

This sounds good, but surveys are known to be a time suck though, so that will not be for everyone.

You would have to give up about 15-30 minutes a day.

It can take time to get to a survey you qualify for with surveys having a high disqualification rate.

When you do the math, like all surveys, that comes to $1-$4 an hour.

Hilton points are only worth $.50, so maybe less.

For a lot of people, the bonus will be the main thing.

If you don’t mind giving up 15-30 minutes a day again for a free hotel at the end of the year, you can try it.

This will be true of surveys in general.

If not done correctly, surveys can steal time for pennies.

If you go the surveys route, my suggestion is to pick one group (airlines, cashback/Swagbucks, hotels, etc) and just commit to one survey a day (two at the highest amount).

If one a day is too much, you can just do surveys whenever you have time.

Make sure to have a goal in mind with your points or cash.

It takes a while to get anywhere substantial.

Sometimes, cash surveys are better because at least you get $5 for your time.

Otherwise, you should have a plan and combine with other things like shopping portals.

A lot of people use surveys to keep their points from expiring.

After the initial bonus, this is what most people will like.

Honestly, I have to review so many survey sites that I have not consistently stuck with any airline or hotel surveys.

I just use Swagbucks and get cold hard cash.

Swagbucks has other things besides surveys too.

Until I start reselling, I will use things like Swagbucks for my travel budget.

Surveys are not most of money on Swagbucks though.

Summary

Opportunities like this are a great opportunity to build your point’s balance.

Ten thousand Hilton Honors points for about 10 minutes, worth $50, is definitely a good deal.

For a lot of people who are pressed for time, this will not be anything substantial after the initial sign up bonus.

This is an easy 10,000 points again.

Again, if you would like to try this long term, make sure to guard your time.

As with the Miles For Opinions review (where you would have a free plane ticket at the end of the year), it could be worth it for some after the initial bonus.

Surveys are a good way to keep your points from expiring.

Look out for these type of bonuses that offer a lot of points for doing nothing.

This bonus could get you quickly to your next free hotel stay.

Have you ever did surveys?

What was your experience?
